About the meeting
The WIC Policy Workshop is hosted by the Wennberg International Collaborative, Solidar Suisse Kosovo, Action for Mother and Children, and Heimerer College. The workshop brings together Kosovar, regional, and international healthcare experts, policymakers, and civil society representatives with the goals of presenting and analyzing the healthcare system in Kosovo.
The meeting has three main objectives:
- To allow policymakers, civil society, advocacy groups, and researchers in Kosovo and few other Balkan countries (Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro) to discuss how data can be effectively employed in the policymaking process
- To enable researchers from Kosovo and other Balkan nations to share work that can be used to inform policy decisions
- To discuss and draft solutions to the most pressing health policy issues related to the health of mothers and children and the health workforce in Kosovo and the region.
Note: The WIC Policy Workshop has been accredited by Kosovo Doctor’s Chamber with 20 points for active participants and 12 points for passive ones. Speakers
